FUJIFILM India has officially launched the much-anticipated FUJIFILM X-M5, marking a big addition to its renowned X Series of mirrorless digital cameras. This new camera promises to set a high standard in compact design, advanced technology, and exceptional image quality, catering to both photography professionals and enthusiasts.

The X-M5 is a lightweight camera, weighing approximately 355g, but is also packed with features designed to ignite creativity across various photography and videography genres.

To complement the X-M5, FUJIFILM introduced the Tripod Grip TG-BT1, a must-have accessory for vloggers and content creators. Sold separately, the TG-BT1 offers improved mobility and secure handling, making it ideal for handheld shooting. Its tripod functionality further enhances creative possibilities, perfect for self-portraits, low-angle shots, group photos, and tabletop stills.

In a recent statement, Mr. Koji Wada, Managing Director of FUJIFILM India, expressed excitement about the launch: “Our commitment lies in providing innovative products that promote our Group purpose of ‘Giving Our World More Smiles.’ The X-M5 showcases our dedication to blending cutting-edge technology with user-friendly design. With this camera, we aim to expand our reach in India’s fast-growing digital imaging market.”

Adding to the enthusiasm, Mr. Arun Babu, Associate Director & Head of Digital Camera, Instax & Optical Devices Business at FUJIFILM India, stated: “The X-M5 is a true game-changer for Indian content creators and photography enthusiasts. Its lightweight design and advanced features empower everyone to explore their creativity, making professional-grade imaging accessible.”

The X-M5 features a powerful back-side illuminated 26.1-megapixel “X-Trans CMOS 4” sensor and a high-speed “X-Processor 5” image processing engine, ensuring high-quality image capture. One of its standout features is the AI-driven subject detection autofocus, which can recognize moving subjects such as animals and vehicles. Moreover, the camera supports 6.2K/30P video recording, enabling users to transition seamlessly between still photos and videos.
