Sennheiser showcased its latest professional audio lineup at InfoComm India 2026.
Spectera is Sennheiser’s wideband, bidirectional wireless ecosystem, and the company calls it the first system of its kind. It runs on Sennheiser’s WMAS (Wireless Multichannel Audio Systems) technology, which puts wireless microphones, in-ear monitors, and control data into a single RF channel instead of several separate ones. Sennheiser built the system for live production settings like touring concerts, broadcasts, and theatre, where RF coordinators usually juggle dozens of separate wireless channels at once. Spectera cuts that complexity down. It reduces frequency coordination and cabling, and it adds full remote monitoring through Sennheiser’s LinkDesk software.
Spectera SKM
At the centre of the launch is the Spectera SKM handheld transmitter. It builds on Spectera ecosystem. With the SKM, the platform’s core elements finally come together in one system. It combines microphones, in-ear monitoring, remote control, and device monitoring in a single solution.
The goal is to pair Sennheiser’s sound quality with Spectera’s flexibility. It works with both Sennheiser and Neumann microphone capsules, and it lets users adjust key parameters like gain and low-cut remotely.
Monitoring runs through Spectera’s own control channel, so teams don’t need a separate wireless control network. The handheld stays in constant contact with the Base Station. As a result, AV teams can track battery status, RF performance, audio levels, signal strength, and link quality in real time.
Sennheiser plans to launch the Spectera SKM commercially in India in Q4 2026.

TCC M Plus
Alongside the SKM, Sennheiser is also featuring the TeamConnect Ceiling M Plus, or TCC M Plus. It’s a new ceiling microphone built for clear, natural speech pickup with a simpler setup process.
The mic uses dynamic beamforming and wider exclusion zones, so it keeps voice pickup accurate as people move around a room. Single-cable connectivity also makes installation straightforward.
TCC M Plus also supports PartnerLink, a Sennheiser feature that lets teams configure microphones directly through Q-SYS Designer Software. It also connects to DeviceHub, Sennheiser’s cloud platform for centralised monitoring, configuration, and diagnostics. That combination should help AV and IT teams manage devices across multiple rooms and locations from one place.
