realme has officially unveiled its all-new flagship the realme GT 8 Pro, setting a new benchmark in smartphone photography. Touted as the “Best Street Snap Shooter”, the GT 8 Pro is built for creators who see the world differently. With three breakthrough imaging upgrades the RICOH GR Camera System, a segment-first 200MP Ultra Clarity Telephoto lens, and pro-grade video recording realme is taking smartphone photography beyond specs and into the realm of creative expression.

A Partnership Built on Street Photography Heritage

In an era where smartphone cameras are becoming increasingly similar, young creators crave tools that mirror their individuality. To answer this call, realme collaborated with RICOH GR, one of the most respected names in street photography, in a four-year co-development journey. The result is a camera system deeply inspired by RICOH GR’s 30-year photographic legacy combining precision optics, intuitive controls, and authentic color science.

The RICOH GR Camera System isn’t just a hardware collaboration, it’s an entire photographic philosophy embedded in a smartphone. From optical design to shooting interaction and color rendering, the GT 8 Pro delivers a shooting experience that feels instinctive, expressive, and deeply personal.

50MP RICOH GR Main Camera: Built for True Clarity

At its heart lies the 50MP Anti-Glare Main Camera, the first smartphone sensor to meet RICOH GR optical standards. Featuring a 7P lens structure with a 5-layer anti-reflective coating, it dramatically reduces glare and ghosting even in complex lighting conditions. Whether you’re shooting golden-hour portraits or neon-lit streets, the GT 8 Pro ensures every frame remains crisp, clear, and true to life.

RICOH GR Mode: Classic Film Feel in Your Pocket

The exclusive RICOH GR Mode gives users an immersive, professional-style interface. A single swipe activates GR’s signature focal lengths 28mm and 40mm complete with the iconic GR shutter sound for a tactile, vintage experience. Users can choose from five classic GR film profiles Positive Film, Negative Film, High-Contrast B&W, Standard, and Monotone to recreate the timeless “GR look.”

For those who love customization, tone adjustments and a GR-style watermark add a personal touch to every photo. This isn’t just about capturing perfect shots; it’s about shooting with emotion, attitude, and individuality.

First-in-Class 200MP Ultra Clarity Telephoto Camera

The realme GT 8 Pro sets a new benchmark with the segment’s first 200MP Ultra Clarity Telephoto Camera. Equipped with a 1/1.56” sensor, it offers unmatched light sensitivity, producing stunning clarity even in low-light or nighttime scenarios. With 3x optical zoom, 6x lossless zoom, and up to 12x digital zoom, it allows creators to frame distant subjects with precision from concerts and sports events to urban skylines.

The telephoto lens also shines in portrait photography. Backed by Snapdragon’s latest platform and realme’s advanced imaging algorithms, it fuses multiple frames to deliver true 200MP detail. The 3x “golden focal length” ensures natural depth, delicate highlights, and sharp subject separation turning every portrait into a visual statement.

50MP Ultra-Wide: Capture the Bigger Picture

Completing the triple-camera setup is a 50MP Ultra-Wide Camera with a 116° field of view and f/2.0 aperture, perfect for group shots, architecture, or street landscapes. Every detail, from narrow alleyways to wide open plazas, is captured with vivid sharpness and depth.

    Pro-Grade Videography: 4K 120fps Cinematic Recording

The GT 8 Pro doesn’t stop at photography; it brings cinema-grade video capabilities to your pocket. The main and telephoto cameras support 4K 120fps Dolby Vision recording, ensuring lifelike lighting, smooth motion, and vibrant color depth.

For professional filmmakers, realme also includes 4K 120fps 10-bit Log and 8K 30fps recording options allowing detailed post-production editing and color grading flexibility. From everyday vlogs to cinematic short films, the GT 8 Pro delivers unparalleled creative control.

A New Era of Street Photography

The realme GT 8 Pro is more than a smartphone, it’s a creative companion for the new generation of storytellers. Whether you’re capturing candid street portraits, sweeping cityscapes, or cinematic videos, every frame is an opportunity to express yourself authentically.

The “Best Street Snap Shooter” isn’t just a tagline. It’s realme’s commitment to merging professional-grade imaging, artistic freedom, and youthful creativity all in one powerful, beautifully designed device.
