itel Zeno 100 Brings Military-Grade Toughness at Under ₹7,000

In a smartphone market where prices continue to climb, it’s rare to see rugged durability offered at entry-level pricing. The newly launched itel Zeno 100 aims to change that by bringing MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability to a phone that costs well under ₹7,000.

Launched by itel and available exclusively on Amazon, the Zeno 100 is priced at ₹6,866 for the 3GB RAM variant and ₹7,285 for the 4GB RAM model. In a segment dominated by basic entry-level devices, this level of rugged certification is unusual, as such standards are typically seen in much more expensive smartphones.

The device also introduces a feature called Ultralink, designed to enable communication in areas with weak or no cellular network coverage. Adding further practicality is an IR blaster, allowing the phone to function as a remote for televisions, air conditioners and other home electronics.

On the front, the ZENO 100 features a 6.6-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate, promising smoother scrolling and navigation than typical budget phones. Audio is enhanced with DTS-powered sound technology, while a Dynamic Bar UI element provides quick updates for calls, notifications and battery status.

Under the hood, the phone runs on an octa-core Unisoc T7100 processor paired with Android 15 Go Edition, designed to keep everyday tasks such as messaging, browsing and video streaming running smoothly. It is available with 64GB of storage and RAM configurations that can be expanded virtually up to 8GB or 12GB depending on the variant.

An 8MP rear camera, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, face unlock, and a 5000mAh battery with 10W charging round out the package.

At this price, the ZENO 100’s biggest claim to fame isn’t raw performance, but the fact that military-grade toughness has finally arrived in the ultra-budget smartphone category.
