boAt has entered the smart projector market with the launch of its CineHead F1 Series, marking the audio and wearables brand’s expansion into visual entertainment. The series comprises two models, the CineHead F1 and F1 Pro, both offering 1080p Full HD native resolution, 4K support and Official Google TV 5.0.
The projectors can display images ranging from 40 to 120 inches and come with Dolby Audio. Google TV provides access to more than 10,000 apps through the Google Play Store, along with features including personalised recommendations, multiple user profiles and Kids Mode. Both models also include Google Assistant, while their voice-enabled remotes feature dedicated Netflix and YouTube buttons. Wireless screen mirroring is supported as well.

The higher-specification CineHead F1 Pro features 500 ANSI lumens of brightness and a 10W speaker with Dolby Audio. The standard F1 offers 300 ANSI lumens and a 6W speaker. Both retain 1080p native resolution with 4K support and support screen sizes of up to 120 inches.
boAt has equipped the projectors with automatic focus, automatic keystone correction and obstacle avoidance. An adjustable stand is also provided for flexible positioning. The F1 additionally features a sealed, dust-proof optical engine with a claimed lamp life of up to 30,000 hours.
For connectivity, the series includes dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, HDMI, USB and AUX ports, as well as HDMI ARC and eARC. Both projectors use a MediaTek processor paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage, with the company also claiming support for low-latency gaming.
The CineHead F1 Pro is currently available at an introductory price of ₹32,999 through boAt’s website, Amazon, Flipkart and select retail stores. The CineHead F1 is scheduled to launch later in August, with its price and availability to be announced closer to launch.
The CineHead F1 Series is also being positioned as a Made-in-India product line, extending boAt’s manufacturing presence into the visual entertainment category.
