boAt has announced a strategic partnership with Spotify Premium, bringing together premium audio hardware and uninterrupted music streaming in an effort to enhance the overall listening experience for consumers in India. As part of the collaboration, eligible boAt audio products will now include a four-month Spotify Premium subscription, with the first 12 weeks offered free. The bundle gives users access to ad-free music, offline downloads and enhanced audio quality alongside boAt’s range of personal audio devices.
The partnership reflects a growing trend among consumer technology brands to move beyond hardware by integrating digital services into their product ecosystems. Rather than simply selling earbuds or headphones, companies are increasingly looking to create complete experiences that combine devices with content and software. For boAt, the move aligns with its broader strategy of connecting technology, entertainment and culture through its product portfolio.

To mark the collaboration, boAt and Spotify Premium have also rolled out a digital campaign titled “HALF the Experience.” The campaign highlights how interruptions, poor-quality audio and generic listening devices can diminish the music experience. Set against the backdrop of a deliberately incomplete concert, the film uses visual humour to reinforce the message before revealing how premium audio paired with Spotify Premium delivers the complete listening experience.
The announcement comes as boAt continues to broaden its focus beyond personal audio. Founded in 2015, the company has expanded into wearables, charging solutions and other lifestyle technology categories. It also says that 71 per cent of its products were manufactured in India during FY2025, supported by its in-house R&D facility, boAt Labs, which employs more than 100 engineers. The company returned to profitability in FY2025, marking an important milestone in its evolution as a broader consumer technology brand.
