boAt has expanded its consumer technology portfolio by entering the kids’ wearables segment with the launch of the Kid Series, headlined by the new Sailor Nav smartwatch. Alongside it, the company has also introduced Sailor Play, a pair of kid-friendly wireless headphones, as it looks to cater to the growing demand for connected devices designed specifically for children.
Priced at ₹6,499, the Sailor Nav is positioned as a safety-focused smartwatch that enables parents to stay connected with their children through real-time location tracking, communication features and emergency tools. The smartwatch integrates Google Maps-based live tracking, allowing parents to monitor their child’s location, while advanced geo-fencing with 5-point satellite positioning sends alerts whenever children enter or leave predefined safe zones such as schools or playgrounds.

The headphones also offer soft earcups, an adjustable headband, Bluetooth connectivity, a built-in microphone and up to 60 hours of battery life, making them suitable for learning, entertainment and travel.
Commenting on the launch, boAt CEO Gaurav Nayyar said the Kid Series reflects the company’s focus on creating technology that balances children’s growing independence with parents’ need for safety, comfort and connectivity.
