HMD is expanding its Vibe2 lineup in India. HMD launched the standard Vibe2 in May. Now, the Vibe2 Pro joins it. HMD confirmed the launch date on X.com for September 29, along with several key specifications.
The Vibe2 Pro runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset. It pairs with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. HMD has upgraded the battery life, confirming a 6,000mAh battery with 33W wired fast charging. The phone also keeps a 3.5mm headphone jack, a feature many competitors skip at this price point.

For photography, the Vibe2 Pro gets a 64MP Sony IMX682 sensor for its main rear camera. HMD pairs this with a 2MP macro lens. Up front, a 13MP camera for selfies and video calls.
The phone will ship with Android 16. HMD has also added its Indus AI assistant, which supports 22 Indian languages. This clearly targets regional users who want more than an English-only interface.
HMD will sell the Vibe2 Pro in three colour options at launch. However, the company hasn’t named the colours yet. Pricing also remains unconfirmed.
