itel has launched its latest budget wearable, the Alpha 3 smartwatch, targeting users looking for essential features in a compact and affordable package.
Priced at Rs 1,499, this itel product is now available across retail outlets in India.
The smartwatch comes with a 1.5-inch round display and a bezel designed to give it a more premium appearance.
It boasts 500 nits of peak brightness, aiming to maintain screen visibility in bright outdoor settings.

The device also features IP67-rated water and dust resistance, offering protection during workouts and minor splashes.
Notably, the Alpha 3 includes single-chip Bluetooth calling support, which is intended to provide smoother voice call connectivity directly from the wrist.
It also integrates basic health monitoring tools, such as continuous heart rate tracking, SpO2 monitoring, and sleep analysis.
The Alpha 3 includes over 100 sports modes and 150+ customisable watch faces.
An AI voice assistant is also built into the device, along with call and message notifications, all managed via the paired smartphone.
itel India CEO Arijeet Talapatra described the Alpha 3 as a response to shifting consumer expectations.
“We have seen users evolve from basic functionalities to expecting premium experiences at accessible price points. With Alpha 3, we’re bringing together smart functionality and everyday comfort in one seamless experience,” Talapatra said.
Powered by a 300mAh battery, the Alpha 3 is available in three colour options, namely Dark Blue, Rose Gold, and Black.
While the itel Alpha 3 may not compete with higher-end models on advanced features, it appears to be positioned as a value-for-money option for users seeking essential smart features without the high price tag.
