In a move aimed at merging avant-garde aesthetics with cutting-edge tech, Nothing has unveiled a creative collaboration with acclaimed photographer and filmmaker Jordan Hemingway.
The partnership is timed with the recent launch of its first over-ear headphones, Headphone (1).
Hemingway, whose distinct, raw, and narrative-driven visual style has powered campaigns for companies like Louis Vuitton, Chanel, Prada, Mugler, and Gucci, was brought on board to conceptualise and shoot the portrait-led campaign for the Headphone (1).
Known for pushing visual boundaries across fashion, music, and pop culture, Hemingway’s cinematic approach aligns seamlessly with Nothing’s minimalist, yet rebellious brand ethos.
In addition to leading the Headphone (1) creative, Hemingway has also developed a custom camera preset for Nothing smartphones.
The preset, titled “Stretch,” is set to launch later this month and will allow Nothing phone owners to shoot in Hemingway’s signature aesthetic.
Reflecting on the collaboration, Hemingway noted, “I first visited Nothing’s office a few years ago for something unrelated. Even then, their innovation and fearless energy stood out. Coming back now to build something together, it feels not just exciting, but like a full-circle moment.”
This collaboration not only sets the tone for Nothing’s expanding design language but also continues the brand’s efforts to bring culture and creativity into everyday technology.
