ViewSonic has launched its new ViewBoard IN01-2 Series of interactive displays in India, expanding its portfolio of education and collaboration solutions. The Google-certified EDLA 4K displays are priced starting at ₹1,20,000 and will be available in 65-inch, 75-inch, 86-inch and 98-inch sizes.
Designed for classrooms and collaborative workplaces, the new series integrates AI-powered tools and Google services to make interactive learning and presentations more intuitive. Running on Android 14 and Google EDLA certification, the displays offer direct access to the Google Play Store and apps such as Chrome, YouTube and Google Search, alongside various educational tools.
One of the key highlights of the IN01-2 Series is its AI-driven features aimed at enhancing teaching and learning experiences. The Text Recognition Pen converts handwritten notes into editable digital text with real-time translation support, including English-to-Hindi. Text-to-speech functionality further improves accessibility, while users can easily rearrange layers, duplicate content and organise material during lessons or presentations.
The display also integrates AI-powered search and learning tools, enabling users to search recognised text on platforms like YouTube or Wikipedia and generate quick explanations or learning prompts. Creative tools such as the Magical Pen transform rough sketches into refined shapes and diagrams, making it easier to create charts or instructional visuals directly on the screen.
Under the hood, the ViewBoard IN01-2 Series is powered by an octa-core processor with 8GB RAM and 128GB expandable storage, ensuring smooth performance for interactive applications. The displays support 40-point Ultra Fine Touch technology, allowing multiple users to write or interact simultaneously using fingers or dual-tip stylus pens.
For multimedia use, the panels feature dual 20W speakers, while connectivity options include USB-C, multiple HDMI ports with CEC and ARC, built-in Wi-Fi and an optional OPS slot for additional computing modules.
Built for long-term use, the displays offer 450-nit 4K UHD resolution, 9H anti-glare coating, 178-degree viewing angles and a 50,000-hour backlight life, while also meeting key Indian compliance standards such as BIS and WPC.
