Casio is expanding its PRO TREK lineup in India with the launch of the new PRJ-B001 and PRG-340 series, bringing together lightweight construction, solar-powered technology and a suite of features aimed at outdoor enthusiasts. The new watches also introduce bio-based materials, while the PRJ-B001 adds smartphone connectivity to the mix.
The PRJ-B001 series is built around a compact, lightweight design that weighs approximately 44 grams. Its standout feature is a rotary guard bezel that can be positioned to protect the buttons during everyday use or rotated 45 degrees to expose them for easier access during outdoor activities. The watch uses a bio-based resin case, bezel and band, along with Tough Solar technology and Bluetooth connectivity.

When paired with the CASIO WATCHES app, users can access automatic time adjustment, settings, world time for around 300 cities, Phone Finder and a Time & Place function that records location alongside the date and time. The PRJ-B001B variants add a bungee-cord cloth band designed for a breathable, flexible fit, including over outdoor clothing. The series is priced at ₹13,995.
For those heading deeper into the outdoors, the PRG-340 series brings Casio’s Triple Sensor technology, providing readings for direction, altitude, barometric pressure and temperature. Its duplex LCD displays compass graphics separately from time and other measurements, while the rotating bezel can help retain compass readings during navigation.
The PRG-340 also gets oversized, nonslip buttons designed for use while wearing gloves, a movable lug construction for laying the watch flat alongside a map, Tough Solar technology, 100-metre water resistance and resistance to temperatures down to -10°C. The PRG-340-1 and PRG-340-3 use bio-based plastics, while the PRG-340T-7 gets a titanium band.
Prices for the PRG-340 series start at ₹17,995, while the titanium-equipped PRG-340T-7 is priced at ₹28,995. The new PRO TREK watches are available at select Casio Exclusive stores and online platforms.
