Bengaluru-based start-up E3 Electric.Ai has unveiled two new electric vehicles, which include India’s first AI-powered family scooter and a crossover delivery moped, that are built on a shared modular platform.
The company claims to have developed both products from concept to design-ready, pre-homologation stage in just seven months.
Founder and CEO P. Sanjeev described the debut as a “giant step forward” for Indian mobility, noting that the record-fast timeline showcases the strength of AI-driven engineering and ecosystem collaboration.

“This is not just a product launch — it’s proof that world-class EVs can be designed, built, and delivered from India, for India & the World,” he said.
Both vehicles are built on E3’s proprietary VOLTCORE Modular Powertrain and TRIAXISFRAME Platforms, allowing component sharing across chassis, portable batteries, and powertrain systems.
This not only reduces development time but also lowers costs for customers and service networks.
The EVs are loaded with intelligent features designed for safety and convenience:
- TRIPSENSE AI: predictive health scans in 10 seconds to detect potential issues
- Mobile-as-a-Cluster: lets smartphones double as digital dashboards, with over 70 app-based functions including navigation, charging station discovery, and safety alerts.
- VOLTPORTBattery Digital Twin: real-time monitoring of 200+ parameters for safer charging, with the battery doubling as a power bank.
- Smart Trip Routing: AI-enabled planning with live range insights, factoring in traffic, weather, and charging points.
- AI Service Booking: proactive service alerts and seamless scheduling via phone.
E3 has filed 13 patents and introduced 10 industry-first features, including the recently granted patent for “Trip Assurance Using AI.”
Early customer studies highlight high rider confidence and comfort.
Positioned as futuristic yet affordable, the scooters feature 14-inch wheels, ergonomic seating, portable fast-charging batteries, and unique touches such as child and pet-friendly RideMate.
With homologation activities underway, E3 Electric.Ai aims for rollout within this financial year, setting a new benchmark for AI-enabled, accessible smart mobility in India.
