Spotify has introduced a new feature called Listening Stats, giving users a weekly snapshot of their top artists, songs, and listening milestones. Designed as a bite-sized version of Spotify Wrapped, this feature lets you see your music trends every week instead of waiting for the year-end summary.
A New Way to Relive Your Music Week
According to Spotify’s official blog, Listening Stats highlights your top tracks and artists from the past week, along with personalized playlists based on recent listening habits. It’s a fun and shareable way to rediscover your favorite songs or discover new ones all within the Spotify app.
Users can revisit their weekly summaries for up to four weeks, making it easy to track how their music tastes evolve over time. Both free and premium users in select regions can access the feature.
Spotify describes the feature as “a mini Wrapped experience,” helping users celebrate their weekly music moments and share them directly on Instagram, WhatsApp, and other platforms.
Spotify Listening Stats vs. Apple Music Replay
In 2024, Apple Music launched an upgraded version of its Replay feature, offering monthly summaries of listeners’ top songs and artists. Spotify’s weekly approach, however, gives users more frequent insights and encourages ongoing engagement with their listening habits.
