Nothing has been recognised as India’s fastest-growing smartphone brand in the second quarter of 2026, registering a 105 per cent year-on-year growth in smartphone shipments, according to Counterpoint Research’s Q2 2026 India Smartphone Shipment Tracker.
The company attributed the milestone to strong demand for its Phone (4a) series, along with increased brand visibility through its title sponsorship of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) during the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL). With this latest achievement, Nothing says it has emerged as the country’s fastest-growing smartphone brand in nine of the last ten consecutive quarters, underscoring its sustained momentum in the highly competitive Indian smartphone market.

The announcement comes amid challenging market conditions marked by rising memory costs and increasing pricing pressures. Despite these headwinds, Nothing says it has continued to focus on delivering products that combine distinctive design, its Nothing OS software experience, and meaningful innovation. The company believes this strategy has also contributed to the successful launch of the recently introduced Phone (4b), which has been positioned as the most accessible device within the Nothing ecosystem.
According to the company, early consumer response to the Phone (4b) has been encouraging. The smartphone became Flipkart’s highest-selling device in the ₹30,000-plus segment on its first day of sale. Meanwhile, the limited-edition Phone (4b) RCB Edition sold out in under two hours, with hundreds of fans reportedly queuing outside the Nothing Store in Bengaluru to purchase the device.
The latest Counterpoint recognition further strengthens Nothing’s position in the Indian smartphone market as the company looks to build on the momentum generated by its latest product launches and expanding ecosystem strategy.
