Lava has expanded its audio portfolio with the launch of the Probuds Xplore 25°, a new pair of TWS earbuds that the company claims are India’s first to feature a pop-up mechanism paired with an integrated display screen. Priced at ₹1,999, the earbuds, the company says, are aimed at young consumers looking for a blend of distinctive design, gaming-focused features and everyday convenience.
The standout feature of the Probuds Xplore 25° is its mechanical pop-up charging case, which departs from the conventional flip-lid design found on most TWS earbuds. Complementing this is a 1.69-inch TFT colour display built into the case, allowing users to quickly view essential information without reaching for their smartphone. Lava says the feature is designed to add convenience while enhancing the overall user experience.

Under the hood, the earbuds are equipped with 10mm dynamic drivers that promise deep bass and clear audio reproduction. For voice calls, the Probuds Xplore 25° uses a quad-microphone setup with Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) to improve voice clarity. Gamers are also catered to with a 35ms ultra-low latency mode, aimed at delivering synchronised audio during gameplay.
Battery life is another highlight, with Lava claiming up to 50 hours of total playback when used with the charging case. The earbuds also support fast charging, with a 10-minute top-up said to provide up to four hours of listening time. Connectivity is handled via Bluetooth 5.3, while dual-device pairing allows seamless switching between connected devices. An IPX4 rating offers protection against sweat and light splashes.
Available in Cosmic Black, Charcoal Grey and Ivory White, the Probuds Xplore 25° also comes backed by Lava’s Over-the-Counter Replacement (OTCR) service, reinforcing the company’s focus on after-sales support. The earbuds are now available through retail outlets across India.
