POCO India has launched two new smartphones: the POCO X8 and the POCO X8 Power. Together, the phones make up the new POCO X8 Series, and the lineup targets everyday tasks like work, travel, and content creation.
Both phones share several features. Each comes with a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display. The screen offers a 2772 x 1280 resolution, up to a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 3500 nits of peak brightness. Both phones also carry IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance. Corning Gorilla Victus 2 protects the display on both models. However, performance and camera hardware set them apart.
The POCO X8 runs on the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset, built on a 4nm process with CPU speeds up to 2.4GHz. It comes with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. For photography, the phone uses a 50MP main camera with OIS and an f/1.8 aperture, paired with a 2MP depth sensor and a 16MP front camera.
The POCO X8 Power steps things up. It debuts the Snapdragon 6 Gen 5 chipset in India, with CPU speeds reaching 2.6GHz. It also gets LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage for faster data handling. For the camera, it pairs a 50MP OIS main sensor with an f/1.5 aperture and an 8MP ultrawide lens. Both the rear camera and the 32MP front camera can record 4K video at 30fps.

Battery life stands out on both devices. The POCO X8 packs a 9000mAh Silicon-Carbon battery with 67W HyperCharge support. Meanwhile, the POCO X8 Power has a larger 10,000mAh battery and supports 100W HyperCharge. Both phones also support wired reverse charging.
The phones run HyperOS 3 based on Android 16. POCO has also committed to 4 years of Android updates and 6 years of security patches for both models.
As for pricing, the POCO X8 costs ₹29,999, while the POCO X8 Power is priced at ₹35,999. Launch offers bring the effective price down to ₹26,999 and ₹32,999, respectively. Both phones go on sale starting September 11, 2026, at 12 noon, exclusively on Flipkart. No-cost EMI options are also available, starting at ₹2,250/month for the X8 and ₹2,750/month for the X8 Power.
