Sennheiser has launched the MOMENTUM 5 Wireless and the MOMENTUM True Wireless 5 in India. The brand calls the pair its most user-focused MOMENTUM update yet. Pre-orders open today, September 24, 2026. Sales begin on October 1, 2026, across online and offline stores.
The MOMENTUM 5 Wireless costs INR 39,990. Sennheiser built it around HD 600-inspired 42mm drivers. As a result, the headphones support Dolby Atmos spatial tracking and Lossless codec playback. An 8-microphone hybrid ANC system for noise cancellation. Sennheiser claims it cuts midrange noise up to three times better than the MOMENTUM 4. Battery life give up to 57 hours of use. Plus, the battery and ear pads are user-replaceable, so owners can swap them instead of buying a new pair. The carrying case is now 20% flatter, and packaging is 16% lighter than before. The headphones launch in Black and Denim, with White, Bronze, and Lavender to follow.

The MOMENTUM True Wireless 5 is priced at INR 29,990. It uses TrueResponse transducers for 24-bit/96kHz high-res audio and Dolby Atmos 3D sound. A Hybrid Adaptive ANC system adjusts to both ambient noise and wind. Meanwhile, a Natural Transparency mode lets users hear their surroundings when required. The earbuds have Bluetooth 6.0 and support aptX Adaptive and aptX Lossless. The battery gives 12 hours per charge, and the case extends that to 40 hours. Like the over-ear model, the batteries here are also user-replaceable. Buyers can pick from Graphite, Cream, Copper, Denim, and Lavender colourways.
Both models also get a design update. The True Wireless 5 uses a fin-free housing based on data from thousands of ear shapes. According to Sennheiser, 73% of testers found it more comfortable than the previous generation. The earbuds also get an IP54 rating, so they resist dust, sweat, and splashes.
