Lava has launched the Virat Curve 5G in India. The phone has a 6.67-inch FHD+ 3D curved AMOLED display. The panel runs at 120Hz and peaks at 1,100 nits. On the back, Lava has added a rear mini screen which shows notifications and other information. The back also has a vegan leather finish. The phone is light, weighing 184g with the battery.
A MediaTek Dimensity 7100 chip powers the phone; a 6nm processor clocked at 2.4GHz. Lava claims an AnTuTu score of over 800,000. The phone has 6GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of storage. Meanwhile, Vayu AI handles the AI features.
For photos, the phone has a 50MP Sony IMX752 primary rear camera with EIS and a 13MP front camera. The audio setup has dual stereo speakers and dual-mic noise cancellation.

Lava has given the phone a 6,000mAh battery. It supports 45W fast charging. However, the box includes a 33W charger. The phone has IronGuard Protection with Al-Si DT Star 2 cover glass. It also gets MIL-STD-810H military-grade certification.
The phone runs Android 16. Lava promises no bloatware and no ads, which is great at this price point. The company also offers two years of OS upgrades and three years of security updates.
The Virat Curve 5G comes in three colours. These are Heritage Indigo, Makrana Ivory and Ellora Slate. Lava gives a one-year replacement warranty on the handset. Accessories get a six-month warranty.
The phone goes on sale on Flipkart today at 7:00 PM. The 6GB + 128GB variant is priced at ₹ 23,999. However, a special launch offer brings the price down to ₹19,999.
