Nothing has unveiled the Headphone (1) Pro. It is the brand’s flagship over-ear model and comes after several teasers. It targets buyers who want more control over their sound than the original Headphone (1).
Audio is the main upgrade. The Pro uses three drivers per side: a 40mm dynamic driver for bass, a precision dynamic driver for mids, and an xMEMS driver with a silicone diaphragm for treble. The headphones support Hi-Res Audio and codecs like AAC and LDAC.
The Pro also adds a physical Flat EQ switch. It turns off equaliser settings and spatial audio in the Nothing X app. Nothing says this helps studio users hear audio without added colouring. Spatial audio is still there for regular listening. It supports head tracking and offers five modes, including one based on Studio B by Metropolis Studios.

Noise cancellation gets a boost too. The Pro has 10 microphones. The Headphone (1) has six. Nothing claims up to 46 dB of noise reduction. The company also changed the microphone placement and the ear cushions.
The design stays close to the original. Nothing keeps its transparent look. The earcups now use 9H Panda Glass, so buyers can see parts of the driver system. The frame uses lightweight titanium and aluminium. The padding is thicker, and the headband is 10% wider. The headphones weigh 327 grams and carry an IP52 rating. They come in Black and White.
Battery life looks great. Nothing claims up to 68 hours with noise cancellation switched off. Connectivity is handled by Bluetooth 6.1, and it supports Auracast.
Pricing starts at $399 (around ₹38,400) in the US. That puts the Pro about $100 (around ₹9,600) above the original. Nothing has listed the headphones on its India website, but it has not announced a launch or mentioned a price. The original Headphone (1) launched in India at Rs 21,999.
