Royal Enfield reports sales of 1,33,958 motorcycles in September 2026. The company says this is its best monthly figure ever. It also marks 8% growth over September 2025, when it sold 1,24,328 units.
Domestic sales drove most of the volume. Royal Enfield sold 1,21,326 bikes in India, up 7% from 1,13,573 a year ago. Exports grew faster. They rose 17% to 12,632 units, compared with 10,755 last year.
Year-to-date sales are equally strong. Royal Enfield has sold 7,09,096 motorcycles so far this financial year. That is a 20% jump from 5,91,903 units in the same period last year. Domestic sales rose 23% to 6,42,021 units. Exports, however, fell 5% to 67,075 units.
B. Govindarajan, MD of Eicher Motors and CEO of Royal Enfield, credited recent launches for the momentum. He said the response to the Himalayan 440 exceeded the company’s expectations. The bike is fully booked for six months. It gets a 443cc long-stroke engine and a new six-speed gearbox. The Himalayan 440 comes in Sela Black, Mustang Brown and Nelong White.
