Royal Enfield has announced the launch of its Conscious Collection, a new apparel line that aligns with the brand’s ongoing “Green Pursuit” initiative.
Rather than focusing solely on motorcycles, this effort expands the brand’s sustainability narrative into lifestyle products through a range of clothing made using recycled and natural materials.
The collection consists of garments crafted from blends such as recycled cotton-polyester, organic cotton, and an innovative fibre derived from Himalayan grass (HimGra).

The materials are sourced and processed using eco-conscious methods, including the use of natural dyes derived from tea leaves, pomegranate rind, and acacia catechu. Garments in the collection are offered in muted, earthy tones and start at a price point of ₹1,600.
The packaging and branding elements for the collection follow suit, made from organic materials and designed to be repurposed as travel pouches or storage solutions.
According to Royal Enfield, this design ethos reinforces its “Ride Green. Ride Pure.” positioning.
Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Chief Commercial Officer at Royal Enfield, stated that the brand aims to give back to the environment through mindful sourcing and design choices.
He described the collection as “a small but meaningful step” in reimagining waste as a resource.
The initiative comes at a time when India generates approximately 9.3 million tonnes of plastic waste annually, contributing to nearly 20% of global plastic pollution.
Royal Enfield’s Conscious Collection marks an attempt to engage with this issue by integrating recycled plastics and pre-consumer waste into its clothing line.
While the collection reflects a shift toward sustainability, it also raises questions about the role lifestyle products play in a traditionally automotive-focused brand.
Whether this diversification deepens Royal Enfield’s environmental impact or simply broadens its merchandise catalogue remains to be seen.
Royal Enfield’s Conscious Collection is now available in select stores and online.
