Infinix launched the HOT 70 Pro in India, with sales starting on September 4. It targets young buyers and leans on expressive design as much as on raw specs.
Design is one of Infinix’s main focuses. Infinix calls it the Dynamic Shine Design, and each colourway behaves differently. Thermo Orange shifts colour with temperature. Mirage Green reacts to UV light and glows in the dark. Silk Glow Purple changes texture depending on the viewing angle. Dive Blue sticks to a plain matte finish instead. Across all four, the body stays as thin as 7.85mm.
Continuing design concepts from the Infinix Note 60 Pro, Infinix built an Active Matrix Cube that reacts to calls, notifications, and charging status. It also runs two light-based games, Lucky Wheel and Lucky Numbers, and lets users design their own light patterns through Matrix Studio.

Specifications and Key Features
For the camera, the HOT 70 Pro uses a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor with Live Photo Mode and an AI Eraser tool. And an 8MP front camera that covers selfies and video calls.
The display measures 6.76 inches and runs at 144Hz, with 240Hz touch sampling and peak brightness near 910 nits.
Durability improves as well. The phone gets an IP68 rating, a first for Infinix’s HOT series, and it survives up to 2 metres of fresh water for 30 minutes.
Inside, a MediaTek Dimensity 7100 5G chipset handles performance, paired with a Mali-G57 GPU and UFS 2.2 storage. Infinix says the setup supports up to 90fps in popular games.
The phone has a 6000mAh battery with 45W FastCharge. Infinix claims a 50% charge in about 25 minutes and a full charge in roughly 63 minutes. A Smart Charging mode is also available for users who prefer battery health over charging speed.
A textured One-Tap AI Button can be found right below the power button. Users can set it as a shortcut to over 50 apps, or assign Gemini to it for quick access. The phone runs Android 16, is going to get three major OS updates and five years of security patches, and it supports NFC.
Commenting on the launch, Miraj Gupta, CMO of Infinix India, said the HOT 70 Pro brings “performance and personality together,” adding that the phone “reacts, transforms and isn’t afraid to stand out.”
Pricing starts at ₹22,999 under the Day 1 offer, across 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB variants. Buyers can pick from Silk Glow Purple, Dive Blue, Thermo Orange, and Mirage Green. The HOT 70 Pro will be sold through Flipkart and retail stores across India. Infinix hasn’t announced an exact sale start date yet.
