URBAN Launches ARC NOTE, India’s First AI Meeting-Recording Smart Fitness Band

URBAN launched the ARC NOTE, which the company calls India’s first AI Meeting Smart Fitness Band. The band records meetings from the wrist, then transcribes, translates and summarises them into AI-generated mind maps. It also tracks health and fitness round the clock, so it works as both a productivity tool and a fitness band.

URBAN says the band targets professionals, entrepreneurs and students who spend much of their day in meetings and conversations. The company wants to push wearables beyond step counting and heart-rate tracking, so it added meeting intelligence to the mix. At the same time, it kept the everyday wellness features users expect from a fitness band.

Aashish Kumbhat, co-founder of URBAN, spoke about the launch. He said wearables have moved far past counting steps, but advanced health and wellness tech has stayed locked behind premium price tags for too long.

How the AI meeting recorder works

The ARC NOTE has no screen. It doesn’t run as an always-listening device. Users start recording with a double-click on the band. The band flashes an indicator when recording begins, and it only records when the user activates it. On a full charge, it can record for close to 16 hours.

AI then process the information recorded and offers four capabilities:

    • AI Transcription: Turns recordings into searchable text, so users can look up names, numbers and topics.
    • Live Translation: Translates conversations, with support for 17+ Indian languages.
    • Minutes of Meeting: Summarises the key points and concepts from a conversation.
    • Auto Mind Map: Turns topics and decisions into a visual mind map.

Users can check all this through URBAN’s app, which works on Android and iOS

    Health tracking

Beyond meetings, the ARC NOTE tracks heart rate, SpO2, sleep and stress round the clock. Its AI Health Insights feature then turns that data into personalised health tips based on the user’s patterns.

The band claims to run up to 15 days on a single charge, and up to 30 days on standby. It has an IPX68 water-resistance rating, so it can handle rain, sweat and splashes. The strap is made from lightweight woven nylon with six sensors inside the band, which URBAN says improves the accuracy of its health data.

Recording, transcription, translation, meeting minutes, mind mapping and health tracking all come free with the purchase, with no monthly or annual fee attached.

Alongside ARC NOTE, URBAN also launched two more bands: ARC Pro and ARC Go. The ARC PRO focuses on wellness, and the ARC GO targets fitness. All three bands skip subscriptions. But ARC NOTE remains the flagship, since it’s the only one that combines meeting intelligence with health tracking.

The ARC NOTE costs ₹6,999. Sales start on 7 September 2026, but bookings open on 31 August, the same day as the launch. Anyone who books in advance gets an extra ₹1,000 off, which brings the price down to ₹5,999. URBAN will sell the band through its own website, authorised trade partners, major e-commerce platforms and retail stores across India.
