Mumbai’s iconic CCI ground witnessed str8bat launching its new AI-powered smart sticker called elev8.
Designed to turn any cricket bat into a precision analytics tool, this device was unveiled at an event attended by cricket greats Greg Chappell and Kiran More.
It looks to mark a paradigm shift in performance tracking, blending elite-level insights with a form factor as minimal as a sticker.
What makes the elev8 sticker a breakthrough is its patented, camera-less sensor technology that captures bat speed, swing angles, impact zones, and more, all without altering the bat’s shape or weight.
The real-time data, interpreted through AI, gives players of all levels actionable feedback instantly.
“This is innovation that works for both grassroots and elite cricketers,” said Kiran More, who’s been using it in his academies. “Even international players have seen visible improvements.”
Greg Chappell hailed the product as cricket’s equivalent of TrackMan in golf, enabling players to coach themselves or receive remote feedback based on real-time match or practice data.
Coinciding with the launch, str8bat announced its expansion into the United States, targeting cricket’s rising hotspots like Texas, California, and New York.
With the sport gaining traction through Major League Cricket and eyeing the LA Olympics, str8bat aims to embed itself at every level, from local leagues to international pitches.
Beyond its smart functionality, the sticker also offers customizable designs, allowing players to showcase personal style while benefiting from elite-level metrics.
