Oakter has officially launched its new Studio AC 5000 2026 Model, a 0.5 Ton 3-Star Inverter Window Air Conditioner. This latest model is designed specifically for compact urban spaces and modern Indian homes, featuring enhanced energy efficiency and inverter-based cooling technology.
The Studio AC 5000 2026 builds on the foundation of its predecessor, the 2025 model, offering smoother cooling performance and an improved user experience. Priced at ₹14,499 plus GST, it is available through leading online marketplaces, quick commerce platforms, and Oakter’s official website. The unit comes equipped with a sleek remote control, a mounting frame, a one-year warranty, and a five-year warranty on the compressor.
Weighing in at 22 kg, the new air conditioner is 30% lighter than conventional models and is touted as the first true plug-and-play window AC that operates on standard 6 Amp home or office power outlets. It also features built-in surge protection and is designed to function without changing existing electrical wiring, making it compatible with pure-sine wave 1200VA inverters.
With a power consumption of approximately 500W, the Studio AC 5000 2026 Model aims to offer an affordable cooling solution, promising up to 60% lower electricity usage without sacrificing comfort. Users can expect the unit to consume just 1 unit of electricity over 2 hours, translating to a running cost of approximately ₹4 per hour. Additionally, the air conditioner is rated as a 3-Star AC, highlighting its focus on energy efficiency.
Unlike the previous model, which utilized a fixed-speed compressor, the new Studio AC employs inverter technology for more consistent cooling and improved operational efficiency. Key features include an anti-dust filter, a CWRC cooling system to minimize water dripping, and low-noise operation, enhancing user comfort. The CWRC system is particularly beneficial as it addresses concerns regarding external water discharge from the unit, ensuring a cleaner experience.
The Studio AC 5000 2026 Model is crafted to perform optimally in the demanding conditions of Indian summers, providing effective cooling even in high humidity.
Shishir Gupta, CEO of Oakter, stated, “Indian consumers today are looking for cooling solutions that are not just affordable, but also energy-efficient, compact, and easy to use in everyday urban living environments. With the Studio AC 5000 2026 Model, we have upgraded both the technology and the design to deliver smoother inverter-based cooling performance in a lightweight form factor that works on a regular household socket.”
