Instagram’s Digital Collectible to Have a Pilot Launch in a Week

Instagram never stops surprising its users with the updates and features it introduces time and again. What started as an image-sharing social networking site has evolved with time and has become a part of our lifestyle. Who would have thought that users could sell their Non Fungible Tokens (NFT) on Instagram.

The NFT integration for Instagram focuses on the term “Digital Collectible” in preference to NFT, given the confusion across the term fungible for plenty of people. The digital collectible Instagram posts will have a “shimmer effect” to allow them to stand out from regular posts in the feed. NFTs will possibly be included in Instagram as standard posts on your Instagram feed. A digital wallet will be connected to let users share digital collectibles and automatically tag the creator and the collector.

Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg and Instagram Head Adam Mosseri took to their Instagram handle to explain how and why NFTs will be introduced to Instagram. The reason stated by the company is to let their fans support their favourite creators by purchasing digital collectibles.

“The creator economy is incredibly important to Instagram. But one of the challenging things that we need to solve as an industry is how to help creators make a living doing what they love. Right now there are a number of different ways for creators to make money but a lot of them are unpredictable and changing rapidly. Now we think one really interesting opportunity for a subset of creators is NFTs,” Adam Mosseri, Instagram Head, says.

The pilot release won’t fee customers for posting and sharing an NFT. It isn’t immediately clear whether or not Instagram could support NFT from all four chains at launch. As per the report, Instagram will permit a small organization of NFT lovers based in the US to test the feature.

“We’re starting to test digital collectibles on Instagram so that creators and collectors can display their NFTs,” Zuckerberg told blockchain entrepreneur Tom Bilyeu. The company would be rolling out augmented reality NFTs, which he described as “3D NFTs” and appear as stickers in Instagram Stories, said Zuckerberg.f

Realme Narzo 50 5G Renders Leaked

Realme Narzo 50 5G line is ready to add a smartphone i.e., Realme Narzo 50 5G. Though the phone’s official launch date is unknown, renders have been revealed. Realme has not confirmed any specifications or other details; there are speculations of its features.

Body and Design

An expected display is a 6.58-inch AMOLED display and FHD+ screen resolution. Realme Narzo 50 might have a 90Hz refresh rate. 

Processor

Narzo 5G will be packed with MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor. The company claims to have used ‘the fastest 5G processor in the segment’ and ‘the best cooling technology.’ Realme Narzo 5 G’s Indian variant will come in 4GB RAM with 128GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage. The smartphone will likely run on Android 12-based Realme UI 3.0 custom skin out of the box and Virtual RAM expansion.

Camera

If the renders leaked are believed, the phone will have a dual-camera setup with a 13MP primary camera and a 2MP depth sensor. Though it does not seem exciting on the camera, let us wait for the official confirmation. There is no information for the front camera of Realme Narzo 50 5G.

Battery

Realme Narzo 50 5G may have a 4800 mAh battery with 33W fast charging.

Price and Availability

A suggested price of Realme Narzo 50 5G is something around Rs.15,000. The smartphone’s render reveals that the phone is available in grey colour as of now. 

Moto Edge 30, World’s Thinnest 5G to Launch in India

You are probably reading this on a glass sandwich phone that may weigh around 200gms and with a back cover, something around 250gms. With that kind of weight, the phone’s thickness is approximately 8mm, and with the back cover, it goes up to 10 mm. Ever wondered how slim can a phone be? Will you believe it if we say that the phone is 6.79mm thin and weighs 155gm? Motorola is geared to launch the world’s thinnest 5G phone, Moto Edge 30. The new phone is sure to have some exciting specifications, making it an excellent choice in the mid-range segment.

Body and Display

Moto Edge 30 is expected to have a 6.5inch FHD+ pOLED 10-bit disolayel offering a 144Hz refresh rate. The selfie camera is placed right in the centre of the display. The 3.5mm earphone jack is missing to maintain the phone’s thinness. Moto Edge 30 is the thinnest phone from the brand, beating Razr, which is 7.1mm thin.

Processor

Another highlight of the phone is the Snapdragon 778+ chipset featured in the Moto Edge 30 with 6GB and 8GB RAM. The smartphone will run on Android 12-based MyUX skin out of the box with Dolby Atmos to enhance the sound experience. The internal storage space available is 128GB.

Camera

The camera setup is a triple rear camera module. Moto Edge 30 will have a primary camera of 50MP, an ultra-wide lens and macro lens of 50MP, and a depth sensor of 2MP. For the selfie camera, there is a 32MP lens.

Battery

The smartphone’s battery is notably small at 4020mAh and will support 33W TurboPower charging. 

Price and Availability

Moto Edge 30 will launch on 12th May in the Indian markets. Though the price is not officially announced, it is expected to be priced at around Rs.25,000 – Rs.30,000. The phone will be available for sale via Flipkart, Reliance Digital, and leading retail outlets for the customers to buy. Supermoon Silver, Meteor Grey, and Aurora Green are the colour options available in Moto Edge 30.

Motorola is doing a great job by launching the world’s thinnest 5G phone with a 4020mAh battery. Though we do not have 5G network in the country, it will be interesting to see how the phone functions. Also, the Moto Edge 30 has India’s First Snapdragon 778G+ 5G processor.

OnePlus Nord 2T Specifications Leaked, Ahead of Official Launch

OnePlus is bringing together the Nord series and the T series in the new OnePlus Nord 2T. The new OnePlus Nord 2T is ready to launch in the Indian markets and is expected to be the successor of the OnePlus Nord 2 5G with minor changes. A third-party retailer has leaked the phone’s specifications online ahead of the official launch. Expected specifications are mentioned in the article.

OnePlus Nord 2T is anticipated to release with a 6.43-inch display with a Full HD+ resolution which was also available in the preceding version. The smartphone has an AMOLED display and comes with a hole-punch cut out on the top left corner of the display screen housing the selfie camera. The display of the smartphone supports a 90Hz refresh rate.

Processor and Storage

Under the hood, there’s reportedly a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset, which is an upgrade over the Dimensity 1200 that powered the OnePlus Nord 2 5G.This may be followed by 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, even though we may also see another variation with a 12GB/256GB configuration commonly found in the Nord lineup.

The OnePlus Nord 2T will feature three cameras. The primary camera on the smartphone can be a 50MP lens. The primary lens will be accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 2MP monochrome lens. On the front, the phone has a 32MP lens for selfies and video calls. The OnePlus Nord 2T may pack a 4,500 mAh battery with 80W fast-charging support.

Price and Availability

The OnePlus Nord 2T price is set at EUR 399 (Roughly Rs 32,100) for the only 8GB/128GB model. There is no official confirmation from the brand regarding the phone’s India prices. The handset will be available in Black and Green colour options.

A tale of three mothers of three generations that brings them closer in an unfortunate situation. Tanvi Azmi plays mother to Kajol, who plays mother to Mithila Palkar, a to-be mother. When Tanvi Azmi slips into a coma, Kajol looks back at her strained relationship with her mother and grapples with regret.

English Vinglish 

Story of a mother of two who is not so well versed with English. Her journey to learn English, rediscover herself, and reassert her value in her family. Shashi, the main lead, is played by Sridevi.

The Sky Is Pink

Based on a real-life incident where a mom goes beyond leaps and bounds and does whatever it takes to save her daughter from a life-threatening disease. Priyanka Chopra, Farhan Akhtar, Zarina Wasim and Rohit Saraf play the lead characters in the film.

The Vivo T1 Pro 5G packs a 4700mAh battery with 66W FlashCharge. The flash charge technology supports charging the T1 Pro’s battery to 50 percent in just 18 minutes.

Vivo T1 Pro price in India is Rs 23,999 for the 6GB+128GB version and Rs 24,999 for the 8GB+128GB version. It is available in Blue and Black color alternatives and will be on sale through Flipkart, offline stores, and the Vivo stores. Pre-bookings for the phone start on May 5th at 12 PM IST.

After being launched globally, Realme GT Neo 3 debuts in the Indian market today. The newly launched phone is packed with charming features and specifications that will surely attract consumers. Realme GT Neo 3 is the successor to Realme GT Neo 2 and is the company’s first 150W charging.

In comparison, the 80W model gets a slightly bigger 5,000mAh battery. And this charging support can charge 0 to 50% in 12 minutes.
