Lumio has launched the Aura 5 in India. It is the brand’s first home audio product. The Aura 5 is a pair of active Hi-Fi bookshelf speakers. They work without an amplifier, a receiver or complicated wiring.
The company is targeting buyers who want better sound than a soundbar or Bluetooth speaker gives. Lumio says those products trade fidelity for convenience. The Aura 5 aims to offer both.
Each cabinet uses real wood. Inside, Lumio has fitted a 4.5-inch aluminium woofer and a 1-inch silk dome tweeter. A front bass port supports low-end output. The pair delivers a true left-right soundstage, with a sustained output of 100W and a 200W peak.

The Aura 5 supports lossless playback up to 24-bit/48kHz. Lumio says this matches the standard on major streaming platforms. The DAC also gets its own isolated, low-noise analogue power rail, which keeps electrical noise low.
Lumio has also built a tuning system called DGS, offering three listening modes: studio, cinema and groove. Lumio says it shaped the tuning with input from its community of enthusiasts. The Aura 5 ships with the Minion OLED remote. It connects over Bluetooth. Lumio also plans Android and iOS apps soon.
The Aura 5 will go on sale on Amazon India during the Amazon Great Indian Festival. The price is ₹24,999. An early bird price of ₹19,999 starts on October 15. Lumio has not shared the exact sale dates. It also has not said how long the early bird price will last.
