Dell Technologies has officially unveiled its latest Dell Pro Precision portfolio in India, a series of AI-ready workstations tailored for professionals requiring high-performance computing. Positioned as a global leader in the workstation sector, Dell Pro Precision aims to enhance capabilities for AI workloads, complex simulations, and advanced rendering directly at the workstation level. Additionally, the company introduced the Dell Deskside Agentic AI, a feature that allows teams to implement and scale agentic AI workflows locally, mitigating the expenses, latency, and data sovereignty concerns associated with cloud-only solutions.
The new lineup consists of the Dell Pro Precision 5 series (14S, 16S), Dell Pro Precision 5 series (14, 16), Dell Pro Precision 7 series (14, 16), and the Dell Pro Precision 7 T1. These workstations are designed with engineers, architects, designers, creators, and power users in mind, merging strong performance with intelligent AI capabilities, mobility, and enterprise-grade reliability.

Dell Deskside Agentic AI integrates high-performance tower workstations from the Dell Pro Precision series with AI accelerators, including the Dell Pro Max GB10 and GB300. It also features NVIDIA NemoClaw, a reference stack for open-source, CrowdStrike security, and a comprehensive suite of Dell Services. This combination allows specialized teams to execute AI workloads locally, ensuring data security and predictable costs.
Growing investments in AI applications, advanced engineering software, and data-intensive workflows underscore the significance of this launch. A recent IDC Info Brief commissioned by Dell and Intel highlighted that 95% of respondents across the Asia Pacific anticipate workstations will play a vital role in AI initiatives within the next two years. Specifically in India, 95% of surveyed organizations reported enhanced productivity among workstation users, with 76% expecting workstations to increase their presence in their tech fleet over the next five years. Additionally, strong usage of workstations for AI deployment (77%) and data preparation (76%) was also noted.

Indrajit Belgundi, Senior Director and General Manager of the Client Solutions Group in India for Dell Technologies, commented on the rapidly evolving nature of professional work, emphasizing the importance of data-intensive workflows and real-time collaboration. “India’s professional community is leading the charge in AI adoption and requires hardware that aligns with their ambitions. The new Dell Pro Precision portfolio and Dell Deskside Agentic AI facilitate the transition of AI from experimental stages to real-world application, without the challenges or costs associated with cloud-only approaches,” he stated.
