Royal Enfield has officially opened registrations for the sixth season of the Continental GT Cup, and the 2026 edition promises to be the biggest and most competitive yet. The one-make racing championship, presented by JK Tyre, returns with an all-new GT-R750 race prototype for professional riders, a ₹20 lakh prize pool, and separate grids for professional and amateur racers.
Continuing its “Street to Track” philosophy, the Continental GT Cup remains one of India’s most accessible racing platforms, allowing anyone with a valid driving licence to enter the world of circuit racing. Royal Enfield revealed that the previous season attracted nearly 6,000 registrations, with 560 riders making it to the zonal selection rounds.
The biggest highlight this year is the debut of the GT-R750 race prototype, developed specifically for the professional category. Built on an entirely new platform, the motorcycle features race-tuned suspension and braking systems, lightweight twin stainless steel race exhausts, and a redesigned aerodynamic fairing aimed at improving straight-line performance and rider feedback on the track. Amateur riders, meanwhile, will continue competing on the proven GT-R650 platform.

Royal Enfield has also reintroduced separate grids for professionals and amateurs for the first time since 2022, creating a sharper competitive environment for both categories. The company says the championship will also include hospitality support across all rounds, making it one of the most rewarding manufacturer-backed racing series in the country.
Zonal selections and Track School sessions will be held across Guwahati, Delhi NCR, Pune, and Bangalore through May and June, with the final rider selections scheduled at Kari Motor Speedway, Coimbatore, from June 18 to 21. The championship rounds will then take place across August, September, and November 2026. Registrations remain open till May 31.
