Qualcomm has announced the launch of the Snapdragon C Platform, a new entry-tier processor designed to enhance accessibility in personal computing for students, families, and small businesses. The Snapdragon C Platform is designed to deliver responsive performance, long-lasting battery life, and quiet operation in laptops priced at $300 and above.
The Snapdragon C enables smooth web browsing, video streaming, and productivity while integrating a neural processing unit (NPU) to support artificial intelligence. This processor is specifically engineered for power efficiency, enabling users to enjoy everyday computing tasks without compromising battery longevity or portability.

Key features of the Snapdragon C include consistent performance for daily workloads and a design that highlights a cool, quiet user experience. Kedar Kondap, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Compute and Gaming at Qualcomm Technologies, stated, “As costs rise and customer expectations evolve, Snapdragon C brings together value-oriented computing, all-day battery life, AI capabilities, and responsive performance in cool-quiet devices for expanded platform choice.”
Devices powered by the Snapdragon C Platform are expected to be available in retail later this year, offering modern computing solutions to a broader audience, including students, families, and customer-facing small businesses.
