The summers are an excuse for many to hop out of their shell and try out new things. While some explore adventure sports, others hit the gym and bring out the fitness freak inside them. Similarly, some also spend the majority of their time being couch potatoes binge-watching their favourite shows and movies. While I am not against binge-watching as it may be my favourite thing to do during holidays, I cannot disagree about the fact that there are better ways to spend my downtime. Summers are the season of sun, sand, and leisurely afternoons. So, what’s better than getting lost in a good book? One can enjoy a book while lounging on the beach, relaxing by the pool, or just soaking up some rays in the park. Also, reading books is the only legal way to hallucinate in real life thus embarking on a journey with larger-than-life characters all while sitting in your comfort does not feel like a bad proposition.
