Samsung is making a stronger case for smartphone users considering a move to the Galaxy ecosystem, highlighting a suite of tools designed to simplify the switching process. From previewing the Galaxy experience before purchase to transferring data and sharing files across devices, Samsung says moving to a Galaxy smartphone is now easier than ever.
One of the key features is Try Galaxy, a web-based experience that allows users to test Samsung’s One UI software on their existing smartphone before making a purchase decision. Available on both Android and iPhone devices, the tool simulates the Galaxy interface and gives users a hands-on feel for navigation, customisation options, and key software features.
For users who decide to make the switch, Samsung’s Smart Switch app is designed to remove much of the hassle traditionally associated with changing smartphones. The service enables the transfer of contacts, photos, messages, apps, calendars, settings, and other important data from both Android and iOS devices. Users can choose between wired, wireless, or cloud-based transfer methods, allowing them to continue using their new device without starting from scratch.

Samsung is also emphasising Quick Share, its built-in file-sharing platform. The feature enables seamless sharing of photos, videos, and documents between Galaxy smartphones, tablets, and PCs. Notably, Samsung says Quick Share can also recognise nearby Apple devices, offering broader compatibility for users who frequently share files across different ecosystems. Files can be transferred through direct connections, QR codes, or shareable links while maintaining original quality.
The initiative comes as Samsung continues to expand its Galaxy ecosystem around devices such as the new Galaxy S26 series. By focusing on onboarding tools and cross-device compatibility, the company aims to reduce the friction often associated with switching smartphone brands and make the transition more appealing to first-time Galaxy users.
