Tata has introduced the Curvv EV SeriesX, a new range of long-range electric SUV-coupes in India. The lineup starts at ₹16.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai) and includes two variants, namely Accomplished X 55 and Empowered X 55, along with a #DARK edition of the latter priced at ₹19.49 lakh.

Built on Tata’s Acti.EV architecture, the Curvv EV SeriesX is powered by a 55 kWh battery pack delivering an ARAI-certified range of 502 km and a real-world C75 range of approximately 400 km. The electric motor produces 167 hp and 215 Nm of torque. The model also comes with a lifetime high-voltage battery warranty.

The Accomplished X 55 variant focuses on comfort and essential technology. It features a panoramic sunroof, dual 10-inch digital displays for instrumentation and infotainment, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a 360-degree camera system with blind-spot monitoring. Interior features include ventilated front seats, leatherette upholstery, and rear sunshades.

The Empowered X 55 builds on this with additional premium features. These include a larger 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system by Harman, a JBL 9-speaker audio system, and Level 2 ADAS with 20 safety features. It also adds powered and ventilated front seats, reclining rear seats, and a gesture-controlled powered tailgate.

Other highlights include 18-inch alloy wheels, vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and vehicle-to-load (V2L) capabilities, a front storage compartment (frunk), and smart lighting features.

The CurvvEV SeriesX is available in five colour options, including a new Nitro Crimson shade. With this launch, Tata aims to offer a more streamlined and feature-rich EV portfolio in the mid-size SUV segment.
