Tata has unveiled the next-gen Tiago and Tiago EV, giving its popular hatchback range a comprehensive overhaul with sharper styling, more technology, enhanced safety, and broader powertrain choices. Prices for the new Tiago petrol range start at ₹4.69 lakh, while the iCNG lineup begins at ₹5.79 lakh. The Tiago EV, meanwhile, starts at ₹6.99 lakh for full ownership, with Tata also offering a Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) option priced at ₹4.69 lakh plus battery rental costs of ₹2.6/km.

The facelifted Tiago has been reworked across petrol, iCNG, and EV avatars. Tata says the updated range is centred around five key pillars of design, technology, safety, choice, and ownership economics.

Visually, the hatchback gets a significantly more modern appearance with Lux Beam LED headlamps, connected Halo Lightbar tail lamps, new alloy wheel designs, and a stronger overall stance. The EV version adopts a cleaner and more futuristic front-end treatment to distinguish itself from the ICE models.

Inside, the cabin receives a major upgrade with a redesigned dashboard, a new “SportLuxe” steering wheel, dual digital displays, and Tata’s new Grand Tech Console. Feature highlights include a 26.03cm HD touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 360-degree surround-view camera, blind view monitor, connected car technology, and wireless charging on select variants.

Safety has also been significantly strengthened. The new Tiago range now offers six airbags as standard, alongside ESP with traction control, hill hold assist, TPMS, automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers, and more than 90 safety features under Tata’s Safety Dome package.

The Tiago EV, meanwhile, receives some of the most substantial updates. Tata claims the electric hatchback can now add up to 100km of range in just 18 minutes using fast charging. The company has also introduced a lifetime HV battery warranty for first owners of the 24kWh variant, a move aimed at improving long-term EV ownership confidence.

The range continues to offer one of the widest combinations of fuel and transmission options in the segment, including petrol MT and AMT, iCNG MT and AMT, and the Tiago EV. Tata Motors says the updated lineup is designed to make premium features and safer mobility more accessible to Indian hatchback buyers.
