We caught up with Pulkit Samrat, who believes technology should empower people, not replace them. There are actors who follow a plan, and then there are actors who follow instinct. Pulkit Samrat belongs firmly in the latter category. Long before social media became a launchpad for careers, he was a Delhi boy who packed his bags and moved to Mumbai with little more than belief and ambition. Television gave him his first big break. Films gave him a larger canvas. And over the years, he has quietly built a career defined not by safe choices, but by constant reinvention. That…
The beautiful game has always been about more than football. It’s about culture, fashion, music, fandom, and the internet deciding what deserves to live forever. The 2026 FIFA World Cup delivered all of that in abundance. While Spain walked away with the trophy, the tournament belonged just as much to Viking chants echoing through Times Square, K-pop royalty sharing the spotlight with football, and one little boy who accidentally became the internet’s newest darling. Here’s what truly defined football’s biggest month. Norway’s Viking Army Took Over the World Norway’s return to the World Cup after decades of absence was reason…
When Giorgio Armani launched Armani Exchange in 1991, the fashion world was a bit skeptical. Why would a legendary Italian couturier dive into the world of fast-paced, youth-driven street fashion? The answer was simple, he wanted to capture the electric, unpredictable energy of downtown city life. He wanted to make Italian luxury feel alive on the streets, not just on the runways. Decades later, that exact same philosophy sparked the creation of the Armani Exchange Women’s AX6031. The design team didn’t set out to make just another dainty, traditional women’s watch. Instead, they were inspired by the concept of “metropolitan…
Every now and then, a movie comes along that doesn’t just entertain you for two hours, but actually makes you want to go home and hug your pets a little tighter. Oslo: A Tail of Promise Directed by Isha Pungaliya and starring Pooja R. Bhale alongside her incredible Siberian husky, is exactly that kind of film. It’s a quiet, incredibly moving story that holds up a mirror to how we treat the animals we claim to love, and it left me thinking about it long after the credits rolled. The heart of the story belongs to Pooja, a woman who…
1. You’ve spent years sharing your journey online. Why did you feel this was the right time to launch Let’s Be Real, and what conversations did you feel were missing from social media? Riya: I’ve always believed that the most meaningful conversations need more than a minute. Let’s Be Real gives people the space to share their stories honestly, without rushing. I wanted to create conversations that go beyond highlights and explore the emotions and experiences we don’t often talk about online. 2. In a world dominated by filters, edits and carefully curated lives, what does “being real” actually mean…
Technology is evolving at a relentless pace, with innovation cycles becoming shorter than ever. In this environment, businesses face constant disruption from emerging solutions. Continuous upskilling and reskilling are no longer optional but essential. At the heart of this transformation lies one critical enabler: seamless, high-quality communication. As enterprises expand across geographies and time zones, large-scale learning through training programmes, workshops, and town halls has become the norm. In these settings, audio clarity is critical. Even minor disruptions can affect comprehension, engagement, and overall effectiveness. Reliable audio is therefore fundamental to meaningful knowledge exchange. However, traditional communication systems often fall…

The premium hair styling market in India is finally getting interesting. For years, Dyson practically owned the “luxury air styler” category, with its futuristic design, airflow-based styling, and eye-watering pricing. But now, Bombae, a brand mostly known for razors and grooming tools, wants a piece of that space with the new Hairplay Pro. Priced at ₹19,000, the Hairplay Pro is Bombae’s attempt at creating an all-in-one styling system for Indian hair types without entering full Dyson territory. The promise sounds ambitious: salon-style blowouts, curls, smoothing, and volume without extreme heat damage. So the obvious question is can a homegrown grooming…
Mothers have spent years figuring out our lives before we could even spell “Wi-Fi password.” They’ve fixed chaos, remembered birthdays, answered panic calls, and somehow mastered Facebook Reels without a tutorial. So this Mother’s Day, maybe skip the predictable flowers-and-chocolates routine and gift her something she’ll actually use, and flex. And no, it doesn’t have to be boring. This is the kind of tech that says, “Thanks for everything,” without sounding like a last-minute Archies greeting card. Fossil Harlow Mini – ₹15,995 If your mom loves elegance that doesn’t scream for attention, the Fossil Harlow Mini feels like the perfect…

I’ve been using the Under Armour Velociti Distance for about a week now, with a couple of proper runs in the mix. Not an extreme test window, but enough to get a clear sense of what the shoe is built for and how it actually feels on the road. This sits in that long-run, high-mileage category, and it shows pretty quickly. The first thing that stands out is the cushioning. It’s soft, especially on impact, but it doesn’t feel overly plush or unstable. There’s a controlled kind of comfort here. You get that bit of protection underfoot, particularly in the…
