Nothing officially confirms its first-ever smartphone will be manufactured in India – Expected design, specifications, and a deeper dive

London-based technology brand Nothing has been hyping up its upcoming smartphone, the Nothing Phone(1) for the global launch on July 12. Recently, Nothing VP Manu Sharma tweeted that every Nothing Phone(1) sold in India will be produced locally in the company’s Tamil Nadu manufacturing plant.

Nothing’s mission is to make technology transparent or completely integrated into users’ lives, taking the transparent philosophy very literally as evident by the striking, yet tastefully done transparent design of their first-ever commercial product, the Nothing Ear(1). They hope to carry this design language into the rest of their products, including this new Phone(1), which would be exciting to see considering not many companies have dared to explore such a radical design philosophy with exponentially complicated design and engineering.

The company’s Head of Design Tom Howard explains in a video released to Nothing’s official YouTube channel the complications of creating a transparent design. Firstly, engineers and designers are demanded to invest more time and money in making the inside of the product presentable, which is otherwise not a concern in mass manufacturing due to the soul-less chase for efficiency in manufacturing and minimizing every resource in the manufacturing process.

Furthermore, in a phone, the cables and wires must take the shortest distance possible to each component in order to ensure rapid performance, and every millisecond counts. Howard admits, however, that they’ve had to make decisions to deviate from this path where possible and a couple of milliseconds can afford to be lost without hampering the User Experience, trading form for function.

Scattered across multiple statements and press releases, the company has shown interest in the design of the phone being inspired by subway transit maps to neatly present the complex array of ribbon cables on modern systems – supported also by an official teaser shown earlier.

Furthermore, it has also been inferred by the latest teaser on Flipkart, that the phone will feature something akin to the flat “glass-sandwich design” (two panels of glass separated by an aluminum frame), similar to the latest range of iPhones, and a prevailing trend in the Industry.

Expected Internal Specifications and Features:

In recent developments, the Phone(1) has been reported to feature:

  • 6.55-inch FHD+ OLED
  • 90hz refresh rate
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 platform
  • Up to 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM
  • Based on Samsung’s latest 4nm process
  • Wireless charging

Expected Camera Specifications:

Phone(1) has also been tipped to feature:

  • A dual-camera setup with 50-megapixel primary camera
  • 32-megapixel front camera with a standard centered hole-punch design.

Although it is certain that the phone will sport the dual-camera setup, there is not much clarity on the specifications of the second shooter, although it is likely that they adopt an Ultrawide angle lens over other options to keep up with the tough competition.

Expected Price and Release Date:

The phone is tipped to be sold for under $500 (~Rs. 38,000), hence competing with the likes of the upcoming Google Pixel 6a, iPhone SE, Samsung Galaxy A53 5G, and the OnePlus 9RT, amongst others. In India, the phone will be exclusively available on Flipkart, with pre-orders starting July 12 with a deposit of Rs. 2,000.

Cure for the Incurable?

Cancer is the second-leading cause of death globally. In 2020 alone, cancer was responsible for nearly 10 million deaths. Scientists have conducted ongoing research and experimented to find a cure for this disease throughout history. The first cancer patient was cured in 1898 using radiation, a method used to cure cancer in the current times, and this is called chemotherapy. Chemotherapy damages the genes inside the nucleus of the abnormal cancerous cells. Although this treatment has a five-year survival rate of 90%, it is often pretty dangerous for people because of the excessive radiation exposure to the patients. The dangers of excessive radiation have motivated scientists to find a safer and more efficient way of curing cancer through research and experiments.

In a recent trial on 18 rectal cancer patients in the US, cancer disappeared from each patient through a drug called Dostarlimab. Doctors at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York conducted the research published in the New England Journal of Medicine. “At the time of our report, no patients had had chemoradiotherapy or surgery.” researchers said in a media outlet study, which meant that the drug Dostarlimab didn’t require any surgery or chemotherapy to decrease the tumour.

The trial is a fascinating breakthrough since nothing like this has ever happened in the history of cancer, where the cancer tumour has decreased/faded from each patient. Experts applauded the study because not all patients had significant adverse effects from the pharmaceutical experiment.

Although this is exciting news, people should not be overly hyped about this because Dostarlimab is not 100% a cure for cancer and has significant side effects which make it undifferentiable from chemotherapy. “We do not know if it will work for other cancers, apart from rectal cancer, because testing and trials have not been done,” Dr Ashok Kumar Vaid. “(My) initial thoughts were that this was very exciting because patients were getting cured without any radiation, surgery, or chemotherapy. A deeper dive brings up questions,” Adds Dr Anil Heroor

Even though there are multiple drawbacks to this study, such as the cost of treatment, small sample size, and eligibility, this is an outstanding achievement for science. Everyone should hope for the best while being realistic.

Summer Skincare Essentials

Summer is here, making it essential for everyone to take care of their skin. During summers, we all look for non-oily, lightweight, and refreshing products to use. Winters make our skin dry due to low moisture in the air, and summers make our skin look oily. Hence, changing our skincare products for each weather is necessary. Today, we bring you some summer skincare essentials.

SPF

Sun Protection Factor is an essential skin care product in summer. Wearing sunscreen helps protect the skin against fine lines and wrinkles caused by UV and reduces the risk of skin cancer. A minimum of SPF30 is what we all should use.

Light Moisturizer

Like sunscreen, moisturizer is also essential for skin throughout the year. For the sunny weather, our skin needs lightweight moisturizer. Generally, gel-based moisturizers are preferred for summers to keep the complexion hydrated.

Wet Wipes

Wet wipes are a must-have to keep your face clean and moisturized on the go. They help clean your face and keep it refreshing while you are out and about in the scorching heat.

Body Scrub

As summer arrives, our chances of wearing shorts, skirts, and short dresses also increase. To slough off the dirt and dead skin cells from the skin’s surface, one must have a moisturizing body scrub.

Face Oils

Facial oils work well to nourish the damaged skin as they are highly antioxidant and reparative. Oils give a natural summer glow, hydrate, and illuminate the skin. Dry and combination skin types are recommended to use facial oils.

Serums

A good serum is the one that soothes, enhances skin texture, and hyper pigments the skin during summers. Sun damages our skin and makes it red and patchy. Therefore, effective face serum for smooth skin is suggested.

Lip Balm

Dryness of the lips and summers go hand in hand. To keep the lips moisturized and smooth at all times, a lightweight and neutral lip balm is endorsed. A good lip balm will last long and soothe the lips without making them look heavy on lips.

Manushi Chhillar | Arrival of a New Star!

When judges asked her during the final question and answer round of Miss World 2017, “Which profession should receive the highest salary in the world?” she responded, “A mother”, and we all knew what happened ahead. The young lady was crowned Miss World 2017, and she’s none other than our very own Manushi Chhillar, who’s recently roped in by UNDP to spread awareness and all set to get the biggest launch in Bollywood opposite superstar Akshay Kumar in Prithviraj.

Ex: You have taken over the world quite literally, how would you like to describe your journey?

Manushi: I would describe my journey as fun, exciting, and I think it was like an adventure ride because there was so much I got to do in life, and there’s so much growth that I’ve seen in the last four years. But I think most importantly, it’s been a vast learning experience for me because I got to experience a lot of things at a very young age. Whether it was travelling, meeting different kinds of people, or meeting world leaders to the most underprivileged of a particular society. So I think it’s been a fascinating journey, and there’s been a lot of learning.

Ex: What is your favourite Mumbai street food?

Manushi: I think Bombay is incomplete without its Vada Pav, and I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad Vada Pav in Bombay.

Ex: Most people perceive that you need to be an exceptional beauty to hold a title like ‘Miss World or Miss Universe. How would you describe the term beauty?

Manushi: I believe that beauty for me is being unapologetically yourself and being who you are. We’re all unique, and we can all stay unique as long as we are ourselves. And when you talk about Miss Pageants, like Miss World, I’d say that they are not about being an exceptional beauty, but they’re about recognizing the fact that all of us, including all the contestants and everyone else, are exceptional beauties.

Ex: What do you do for a digital detox?

Manushi: My digital detox is usually on the days when I’m not working because on the working days, there’s always something or the other that’s happening on the phone, and all the communication happens over there. However, I love taking at least one day off a week and doing something that I love doing, maybe painting. And when I’m in that zone, I usually don’t need any gadgets, or I don’t even look at my phone. I travel a lot, but I click very few pictures because I don’t like to have my phone on me when I’m travelling. Unless, of course, you need to make an urgent call. So my holidays are my digital detox because I don’t like being on my phone. Otherwise, when I’m on set and when I’m working, except for the parts that I’m shooting, I need my phone.

Ex: What is your average screen time on a daily basis?

Manushi: My average screen time keeps varying. There are days when I only spend an hour on my phone, and I’m not kidding, but then there are days when this goes up to almost 8 hours a day. So basically, it depends on what kind of day I’m having.

Ex: Manushi, you have inspired many young women, but who has been your inspiration all this while?

Manushi: I think it’s really sweet and humbling when people tell me that I have in some way added value or inspired them in life. But for me, I’ve had a lot of great men and women that I’ve looked up to growing up. And the constant has been my parents. I think they are two individuals that I really look up to, and I absolutely adore, and I’ve always tried to become someone like my mother.

Ex: What is that one cause you always stand up for and believe everyone should come together?

Manushi: I have always strongly felt for health and hygiene, especially for women, because I believe that if the woman of a family is healthy and learns the right hygiene, that impacts the entire family. She makes sure that the entire family is healthy and entire family knows how to practice good hygiene. So for me, female health and hygiene have always been essential. And I think that is something which I wish is very basic and I hope that it’s something that a lot more people in the world would take up.

Ex: What is the most expensive piece of gadget you own, and what is that one gadget besides your phone, of course, that you believe holds great importance in your life or home?

Manushi: The most expensive piece of gadget that I own is my watch because I love how mechanical watches work and how they use kinetic energy in order to make sure that the watch runs for a longer time. I absolutely love that whole idea, so it has to be my watch. A gadget that holds great importance in my life or home besides my phone would definitely be my iPad and AirPods because I really can’t go anywhere without them. I think our houses are now so dependent on gadgets, whether it’s a good television set or great speakers. There are so many gadgets that go into the kitchen and, of course, your air conditioning. All of these gadgets have evolved so quickly over time. So it would be challenging for me to pick just one crucial device for homes.

Ex: Three things you do to keep yourself calm during stressful times.

Manushi: There are many things that help me keep calm during stressful times but talking about the top three – The first one is a form of physical activity, whether it’s cycling, taking a long walk somewhere around nature or working out or dancing. Physical activity helps release all the endorphins I need during a stressful day. The second has to be painting as it has a long-lasting effect on my mood, and I always feel very calm when I paint. And the third is spending time with family and loved ones.

Ex: Every actor takes something away from the character they portray. What do you take away from your first film Prithviraj?

Manushi: My takeaway from my first film, Prithviraj, would be the fact that Sanyogita is the first character that I will be portraying on screen and the first character that I prepared for a film. And I feel like a lot of situations that she was put in and a lot of opinions that she had or emotions that she felt were very new to me as an individual who had not experienced such a situation in life. So it took a lot of understanding because I had to justify her actions to myself before I could justify her actions to the world in front of the camera. Also, there’s a lot to learn from that girl who had a transition from being a Princess to being a Queen and standing up for what she believed was right. And more than anything else, your first film, your first experience, teaches a lot to you. And I only fall in love with the process of filmmaking through Prithviraj.

A Few Quick Bytes

Ex: What do you prefer? Movies or web series?

Manushi: Movies.

Ex: What’s your dream car?

Manushi: One of those convertible red Porsche, those two-seater ones.

Ex: What’s your favourite place to escape to?

Manushi: Currently it would be Paris.

Ex: Where do you stand on the pineapple pizza discourse?

Manushi: I don’t think I stand anywhere because I would rather throw up.

Ex: Are you fond of collectibles? What do you like collecting?

Manushi: Yes, I do like to collect keychains, stickers, and postcards.

Ex: One bizarre dream you remember having recently?

Manushi: Recently, I dreamt that I had broken my phone.

OnePlus 10 Pro Is it worth buying?

OnePlus started as a brand with a killer tagline – Flagship Killer! They stood true to their claims by offering quality flagship-level products at mid-range prices. Today in 2022, the scenario is not the same for OnePlus. What was once a flagship killer is now a global flagship phone maker with flagship-level pricing. Their latest flagship product is the OnePlus 10 Pro and it carries a 60+ thousand rupees price tag, a flagship category price too. We will take you through 10 dimensions of the OnePlus 10 Pro and is it worth buying? Let’s continue, shall we?

Display – OnePlus 10 Pro comes with a slightly curved 6.7-inch QHD 2k LTPO2 Fluid AMOLED display that can switch from as low as 1Hz to 120Hz dynamically. With a 20.1:9 ratio display, this phone feels large and long. OnePlus also claims a peak brightness of 1300nits on HDR content but typically it is around 500-800 nits based on the content on that display. In isolation, this display is crisp and flagship-level quality but in comparison to Samsung Galaxy S21 FE, a phone that costs almost 20% less than the OnePlus 10 Pro, Samsung quality dwarfs OnePlus in comparison at the same brightness levels. Both these phones have Gorilla Glass Victus upfront for Protection. There is inconsistency in colour reproduction at different brightness levels.

Frame – This is a glass sandwich phone like most other phones. The front glass is a Gorilla Glass Victus, the rear gets Gorilla Glass 5 and the frame is aluminium to keep weight and sturdiness in check. Only the international T-Mobile variant comes with IP68 water and dust  Protection but the global variant gets no such claims. Rubber gaskets do tell us that this phone can handle some splashes and dirt easily. Weighing a little over 200gms, this is a two-handed phone.

Charging – There’s a healthy 5000mAh battery with a bundled 80W SuperVOOC charger, Oppo is the parent company so that’s a borrowed tech but arguably a better addition, especially in a world where Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi, etc have stopped providing chargers in the box. The phone also features fast wireless charging up to 50w and reverse wireless charging with USB power delivery to power other devices via the Type C port.

Specs – Powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, blazing-fast RAM and UFS 3.1 Gen1 storage, this phone is a creme-de-la-creme of smartphone processing power. Gaming or multitasking is a breeze and a pleasure with a relatively long-lasting 5000mAh battery. What also aids gaming is the 480Hz touch sampling, making every input free lag-free and instant. Relatively low thermal throttles also inspire long gaming sessions.

Connectivity – There are multiple 5G bands supported. There’s also WiFi 6 along with 802.11 AX dual-band Wi-Fi support and something too obvious is Wi-Fi Direct with Bluetooth 5.2 with all its goodies.NFC – NFC enables a lot of ease when it comes to connectivity. One can tap to pay, share Wi-Fi passwords and connections, use Android Beam to share files between devices, touch to connect Bluetooth speakers and with NFC tags, the world of creativity is at your disposal.

Camera – Triple camera setup, a useful one with all cameras enhanced by Hasselblad algorithms. 2D – Second generation of P – phone camera with 50T – triple camera setup featuring a 50MP 150-degree field of view ultra-wide camera. Photos from all sensors 48MP primary with OIS, 50MP ultra-wide and 8MP telephoto camera with 3.3x optical zoom are neutral in colour with sometimes underexposed clicks but videos are super amazing with up to 8K 24fps shooting on the rear primary camera setup and only 1080p on the front 32MP selfie shooter. There’s 4k video capability with 30,60 and 120fps modes on the primary camera, 4k 60fps on the ultra-wide camera and 1080p 60fps on the telephoto camera.

As compared to the similar Samsung shot from an S21 FE, the camera performs almost at par but misses the Samsung vibrancy. Low light images and videos are impressive and evolution for OnePlus as a smartphone maker. One thing to note is that the new ultra-wide sensor gets no autofocus and also cannot double as a macro camera as its predecessor OnePlus 9 Pro. But there’s a fisheye mode that makes your photos and videos look like you shot from a Go-Pro camera.

Software – Oxygen OS now looks like it was adopted by Color OS of Oppo. It still gets no ads and Oxygen OS customisation suite but then again, there are reminisce of Oppo’s dominance here and there across the UI. Oh, it runs Android 12 based on Oxygen OS 12.1.

Choices – Available in two colours – Volcano Black, Emerald Green and an exclusive Glaciar White colour not sold in India. Also, it comes in two setups – 8GB RAM with 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. If you are considering this device, do not get the 128GB variant, games, apps, and cameras take up a lot of internal space.

Is it worth buying? – Priced over 60k and almost 70+k for the 256GB variant, this phone tries to compete with the top dogs of smartphone nirvana. At this price, the OnePlus 10 Pro enters a category of devices that do many things better than the 10 Pro while providing a whole new dimension to the flagship smartphone experience. If the price gets sweeter by 10K via deals, etc. or if you do consider shelling out this amount of money, products like the Samsung Galaxy S22, Apple iPhone 13, newest Asus ROG phone and many others look like a whole lot of value for money, don’t they!

Good – Overall phone design and experience

Bad – Speakers, Color-Oxygen OS

Ugly – Lack of AF on Ultra-wide camera, MSRP

Rating – 4/5

Specifications

Display – curved 6.7-inch QHD 2k LTPO2 Fluid AMOLED

SOC – Snapdragon 8 Gen 1

Memory – 8GB (expandable) RAM, 128/256GB ROM

Battery – 5000mAh, 80W SuperVOOC charger

Cameras – 32MP front, 48MP OIS primary rear, 150-degree 50MP ultra-wide, 8MP telephoto camera with 3.3X optical

OS – Oxygen OS 12.1 based on Android 12

How Technology Improved The Financial Industry

On August 6, 1991, one of the most significant pieces of technology was launched. The Internet “World Wide Web” was introduced to the public about 21 years ago. People and business entities did not immediately take to the Internet. It was quite a task to bring an Internet connection into a building. An Internet service provider had to run a cable from the mainline to the inside of the building. From here, an Ethernet cable was utilized to create a connection between the Internet service and router. Another Ethernet cable was needed to connect the Internet router to a computer. This complex process is still utilized today but is no longer viewed as a hassle.

As time went on, more private networks were created. It did not take long before everyone was hooked and eventually reliant on the Internet. Today, there are approximately 5.16 billion Internet users across the globe. When you break down these Internet users, you see people, businesses, government entities, nonprofit agencies, and public institutions.

Financial Industry And Internet

One industry majorly impacted by the Internet is the financial sector. Long gone are the days of spending precious time waiting in line to cash a check. While some financial institutions continue to see some foot traffic, the volume has drastically decreased, thanks to the Internet.

Commercial banks, asset management firms, credit unions, insurance companies, check-cashing firms, payment processors, finance companies, payment processors, stock brokerage firms, and asset management firms are reliant on the Internet.

The Internet is so commonplace in the financial sector. Everyone from the consumer to the small business to the large corporation conducts business with at least one financial institution.

Mobile Banking

Mobile banking is one of the most notable finance technologies. Thanks to this amazing piece of technology, consumers can conduct most of their financial activities online. Instead of spending hours in line at a bank, consumers can cash their checks online. This includes both payroll, cashiers, and personal checks.

Nearly every small and large financial institution utilizes software for its mobile banking services. The account holder must download their bank app to their desktop computer, laptop, or smartphone. Some people tend to download their bank apps to all their mobile devices and desktop computer. So, they have quick and easy access to their personal bank account at home and on the go.

Other financial services available through most bank apps include check cancellation, wire transfer from one account to another, bill pay, and balance inquiry.

Digital Currencies

Cash was the go-to payment before the public discovered the Internet. Modern banking systems hold a specific level of capital in hopes of avoiding economic stress. Digital money is stored electronically to streamline the existing financial infrastructure.

Electronic money transactions are much simpler and quicker than physical cash. Financial institutions can transfer money from one account to another in what seems like nanoseconds. For example, an account holder enrolls in a เว็บสล็อตเว็บตรง service. The initial deposit takes less than 15 minutes. The process involves removing electronic money from a bank account to the service provider’s bank account. The balance is then recorded in the player’s personal account.

Email

Nearly all financial institutions utilize email for various tasks and processes. Banks, credit unions, and other financial institutions incorporate email into their marketing strategies. Email marketing allows financial entities to build their customer bases, promote their lending services, communicate with their customers and other consumers, share time-sensitive information, and employee-to-employee communications.

Email marketing is an effective technique that has proven itself over time. Just ask any financier how they feel about email. They will all agree it has improved their every financial process in every way possible.

Video And Audio Chat

Thanks to state-of-the-art technology, financial institutions are no longer forced to host traditional meetings. Hosting a traditional financial meeting is never easy, especially when your employees, partners, and investors live across the globe. Fortunately, this is no longer the case, with video and audio chat technologies.

Virtual meetings can be held without a moment’s notice. To set up a virtual meeting requires a computer or smartphone, video & audio capabilities as well as an Internet connection.

Some banks even do one better by utilizing special virtual meeting software. They encourage their employees to keep the app downloaded to their smartphones, so they can be reached at all times.

Love and Lust For Sneakers

As we move into 2022, we often reflect upon our habits in the form of new year resolutions. And when it comes to sneakers, ‘hype beasts’ and ‘sneakerheads’ have their priorities set. I have always wondered why I am naturally driven to buy new sneakers, but I wonder how some people do not care much about their shoes.

I fall in love with sneakers anywhere and everywhere – in elevators, where my introverted eyes shyly glance downwards, in subways where I rethink the entire purpose of my existence and dimly lit bars. I have always had this fetish of being the best dressed in the room, and some readers move with the same mindset. It’s a sort of dopamine for our kind of people.

I have always believed there are two kinds of sneakerheads: one that lives for the hype, i.e. they buy and collect only those sneakers that are hyped in the market either for their history or for their hot collaborations. Another group doesn’t submit to the hype and buy whatever they think would fit their style.

The people who collect sneakers for the hype and history appreciate the culture as much or maybe even more than those who buy it just for the sake of wearing it. I remember visiting a friend’s place, and the first thing he showed me was his wardrobe filled with Jordans and Dunks. Upon asking why most of the sneakers were left unworn, he said something that stayed with me, “few things are not to be touched but observed.” The subtle thread connecting each exhibit element is a scattering of disparate experiences of self-professed “sneakerheads” and the artistic ways their stories are told.

Sneakers have always been an essential part of the black culture, and many of these observations come from the African-American community. The Rise of Sneaker Culture is educational – acknowledging how the black community interacts with the modern world. The culture has now spread across every corner of the world, and you can now find at least one of your friends who claim to be a ‘sneakerhead’.

Every sneaker is unique, and maintaining a pair of kicks is seen as more of an investment as the value of specific models such as signature Jordans and rare Air Max models continue to climb up even after we wear them a few times.

Is it just an impulsive decision?

Sneakerheads were thought to be a fad group that embraced compulsive and impulsive buying behaviour upon their first introduction. However, the community has had a positive economic impact within the marketplace with their resell activity over the years. Sneakerheads seek out rare sneaker collections and exclusive celebrity collaborations and create a sense of scarcity to sell them at a relatively higher price.

Where did it all start?

Most sneakerheads credit the origin of street style and sneaker subculture to the late 1970s/early 1980s with the introduction of the hip-hop era. During this time, sneakers became synonymous with street culture, and some of the most iconic sneakers like Puma Clydes, Adidas Shell Toes, Converse Chuck Taylors were introduced to the streets.

But this wasn’t it. The real boost to the sneaker industry came with the introduction of Nike Air Jordan 1s in 1985, arguably one of the most significant introductions ever, which changed the sneaker game completely. The shoe gained its notoriety because it collaborated with one of the biggest athletes of the generation Michael Jordan. The shoe has a great history since the NBA initially banned it after Jordan wore it to the court.

The Air Jordans have continued to gain popularity since its introduction and now accounts for half of the basketball shoe market. The series currently has several shoe drops and has sold over 100 million pairs. Brands like Adidas and Reebok tried to strike the lightning twice. They tried to recreate the aesthetic of Air Jordan, even mixing in exotic colors developing new comfort technologies like ‘the pump’ that would fill your shoe with air for a better fit. In the mid-80s and 90s, the footwear seen across schoolyards and city streets could say a lot about your social status.

Present Love For Sneakers

It’s not that Nike days are over, but Kanye West created a new wave of fashion that has somewhat a cult following. The sneaker world goes into a frenzy whenever a new Adidas Yeezy is released. I don’t think that anybody besides Virgil Abloh had that sort of effect. Whether you miss the old Kanye and love the new Kanye, who is more bold and outspoken, there’s no denying the impact he had on every corner of fashion and pop culture.

In my opinion, Kanye’s genius shaped the state of the sneaker world we live in today. In 2015 when the Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 was released, people could wear it every day. It opened up a world of possibilities and opted for a much sleeker silhouette overall. It became a massive success right from the start, and Since then, it has only ever released Yeezy shoes in minimal supply.

The Future

Something that began as a humble rubber company invention is now a juggernaut of the apparel industry. The sneaker industry today brings nearly $60 billion annually and hundreds of millions of dollars are spent in its research, development, and branding. The iconic fashion presence of sneakers shows no sign of slowing down in the future as well.

Top 5 Apps For Women

What can possibly be the best apps that women can have on their phones? Honestly, it’s pretty much the same for everyone, regardless of gender, but since March is Women’s history month, we want to list out apps that women might find helpful.

Pinterest

As a social pinboard site, Pinterest is an excellent platform for women. There’s no end to pinning on the forum, and one can stay more active on Pinterest if they like exploring and collecting new ideas. Data shows that 70% of Pinterest users are female, and this is no surprise since women are keener on taking inspiration for their clothing and fashion.

So if you are someone who likes to take daily fashion inspirations or collect tattoo ideas that you would one day plan on getting, you should definitely have Pinterest on your smartphone.

Splitwise

Gone are the days when women would go out on dates and let the man handle the bills. Say goodbye to protracted post-dinner discussions about who owes what—no more confusion on how to divide up the household bills. As the name implies, Splitwise splits up the bill incurred by a group of people. You could go on a dinner or a trip or split up the rent or groceries and save yourself from the awkward ‘I owe you’ conversations.

Noonlight

Essential apps list cannot be complete without including something that takes care of their safety. Noonlight is an emergency dispatch app that’s beyond clever. When do you need Noonlight? When you are walking alone or see someone following you, you silently call for help during a domestic attack, when you are lost on a hike or while taking a ride.

Open the app and press down the button until you feel safe. As soon as you leave the button, it will ask you to enter a code. Emergency services are pushed to the phone’s GPS if you fail to enter the code. You can jot down the notes about who you are meeting and where and add Tinder chats info into your Noonlight timeline, and if you go ever go missing, Police can use those clues.

Clue

Talking about the clues, we have an app for women to help track their periods. Clue not just enables you to track your period and evolution cycle but also things like cramps, skin, hair, and sleep. The sophisticated software analyses everything so you have fewer surprises down the road.
